Eger Tour

Explore the baroque town and taste some of Hungary’s best wines!

Tour the historic region of Eger with us and see the many surprises the baroque town has for you. The castle of Eger played a very important role in Hungary’s history. The town also keeps some Turkish memorial places. We will walk downtowm and see the magnificent Basilica, all the baroque style buildings and the famous castle (founded in the 13th century). 

Our restaurant, where we’ll have our 3-course lunch, is situated in the ‘Valley of the Beautiful Woman' in the centre of Eger’s wine region, the home of the most famous Hungarian red wine, Bull’s Blood. The meal includes wine tasting of 3 types of wine.

Return to Budapest. The tour ends in the city centre.
